​​Our founder, Dr Gabor Nemes DrMedVet PGCertSAECC MRCVS qualified as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Hungary in 2007. He moved to the UK after accepting a job offer in 2012.

 

He has been working in small animal practice since qualifying, including 7 years in a busy small animal hospital as Emergency and Critical Care Clinician.

​

He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care, and has just started another 3-year course, studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

 

Due to his knowledge and experience he is listed by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as an Advanced Practitioner in Emergency and Critical Care. There are less than 100 vets in the whole of the UK with this level of recognition.

His ultimate dream was coming true with the opening of our practice in early 2021: to deliver top notch veterinary care with modern knowledge and excellent facilities, yet keep the tone of the place relaxed and personal with no-rush consults and a growing, committed team.

Ever since the opening, he has continuously been investing into the development of the practice, including:

• Full upgrade of the in-house laboratory

• Renovating the upper two levels of the building

• New office and clinical areas

• Expansion of surgical equipment range

• Dental suite with state-of-the-art dental radiography

• Ophthalmological equipment, including top-of-the-line tonometry and slit lamp

 

At Pet Repair Vets every pet is given the opportunity to receive gold standard treatment, while everything is explained and discussed in detail, so we can efficiently work together for our animal friends.
